"Fast & Furious"

Moody, miserable and sneering like Billy Idol, the front man of The Boomtown Rats was the vastly opinionated and occasionally angry Bob Geldof. But it has now been overtaken by "See You Again," a ballad by rapper Wiz Khalifa and singer Charlie Puth that featured on the soundtrack of Furious 7 —the 2015 installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise —that served as a tribute to Paul Walker, a lead actor in the films who died in a car crash in 2013.
The Pistols, could be now seen as dated, out of their depth in any music collection (although, they do make a brief appearance in mine.) This particular track was a justified hit for The Clash in October 1977 and reached number 28. Creeping up the charts and slowly making a permanent dentations in the minds of the audience, it was obvious that this band were on the move.

And the worsening quality of The Fast & The Furious' soundtracks has a peer in how the movies gradually shifted off from illegal street racing to action-packed paraphernalia, big explosions, and plot twists as unsurprising as my cat's morning hairball.
After a minor collection of flopped singles, the band caused an unusual stir with their highly acclaimed debut album 'Eight Legged Groove Machine' in August 1988, which ignited attention within the masses of public school types eager to adapt their intellectual tendencies towards a surrealistic way of appreciating modern music, not unlike the generation of the late Sixties breathing a sigh of relief at the Monty Python boom.

G-Stro, which landed a place on the Fast & Furious 4 soundtrack, is just one of the many tracks that Busta Rhymes worked on alongside production duo, The Neptunes and also features Pharrell. The list would be incomplete without a bit of Luda, who stars in the films and also across its soundtracks.
Graham: I'm doing the music for a movie, I just discovered two days ago, which is a small movie. The critically panned Tokyo Drift soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyi6LmM_aA_TWXHLdkPtehA and film marked the beginning of the series making a turn to include more reggaeton and electronic music to the franchise.

In order to write the track, which is this week's #1 song on Billboard's Hot 100, Wiz said he tapped into the Fast & Furious” series' themes, which Walker clearly symbolized in many ways with his portrayal of Brian 'Conner. There is nothing cool or exhilarating about hearing "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the 1,000,000th time in the 1,000th movie that has licensed that song.
The soundtracks from the ‘Fast & Furious' franchise are a time capsule of hip-hop music in the aughts. The second film was directed by John Singleton , a great director who also made Boyz N the Hood but who seemed to fundamentally misunderstand that a Fast & Furious movie should never be too serious.
